Glenglassaugh Evolution, a superb Speyside, embodies everything that makes this region renowned throughout the globe. It is made entirely of malted barley and is traditionally distilled in pot stills. It is then non-chill filtered, matured in first fill ex-George Dickel Tennessee Whiskey barrels, and bottled at a respectable 50% ABV. The flavor of Glenglassaugh Evolution is warm, sweet, and barley-rich with a hint of smoke, butterscotch, orchard fruits, and juniper berries, and it has amazing depth for a NAS whiskey. The finish is extremely brief and has nutty wood notes.
